Asteriskr is run by Cris Bloomfield who works within the commercial arm of The University of Manchester. This completely self-funded unit of the University pursues, establishes and develops partnerships to secure revenue streams and deliver tiered services. The design, marketing and ideas that define the work of Asteriskr are all focused on the implementation of solutions appropriate to user needs.
Creating a good website takes a lot of interaction between the designer and customer. The end result is dependent on the technical competency and skill set the designer has, the amount of sway they hold in negotiating the final design and the effort that goes into establishing the initial requirements. Asteriskr has the design, development and productions skills needed to ensure you are delivered work that meets your requirements.

Since the late 1980s Cris has ridden, raced, broken and crashed mountain bikes, most recently keeping a record of things on rothar.com. He also has a penchant for small, fast French hatchback cars which is financially ruining.
